Xylitol in Dogs - Introduction

You may be surprised to know that a product that is extremely poisonous to dogs is found in many common food that we bring into our homes regularily. Even a small amount of this ingredient can be extrememly toxic to dogs - to the point where vets will tell you it's more poisonous to dogs than chocolate.

This common ingredient is called Xylitol - found in many sugarless products, and is being added to the ingredient list of many others each day.

It all began when my 6lb dog, Angel ate three pieces of sugarless gum containing Xylitol, which nearly took her life. Although Angel recovered after 3 days with astounding care from her vets, I know that she will not be the only dog that will eat this poision.

I truly believe that Angel lived for a reason: to spread the message. Had we not previously known of the poison, Angel would not be alive today.

If you are a dog owner, or know someone who is, please take the time to read some of the links to the left and spread Angel's Message. You could save a dog's life.

Thank you.
